Casey Sheehan, who was a mechanic in the US military, died during a “Quick Reaction Force” mission to rescue American troops.

Reuters reported today:

Cindy Sheehan, who became a central figure in the U.S. anti-war movement after her son Casey was killed in the Iraq war, was taken from the Capitol in handcuffs and charged with unlawful conduct after refusing to cover an anti-war slogan on her T-shirt.

Beverly Young, wife of House Representative, Bill Young, was also arrested for wearing a t-shirt in support of the American led war in Iraq.

Seems like the police force can’t make their minds up or maybe free thought isn’t allowed at all during Bush’s hour long pep rally.

The president ironically underscored the importance of freedom in his address.
