Every sport has bad officiating that it be penalties in hockey, judging in any sports with a judge panel.
Its just part of the game but ya that pittsburgh touchdown shouldn't have counted. Oh well congrats to pitts anyways. My team was out from the beginning anyways |

Its still a push though, I have seen that call many times watching Football, Jackson (#82) knows that you dont push off of another player to catch the ball!
Yeah there was some bad calls in that game for both teams, but thats sports...there will always be shitty calls! Last edited by islandgirl; Feb 06, 06 at 10:31 AM. |

^Bullshit. That calling was so lopsided it was ridiculous. Name me at least 2 or 3 bad calls against Pitts.... bet you can't.
In the end I could care less who really won so I can honestly say I'm not biased at all. I just watched because I enjoy the game. In all my years of watching sports, any game for that matter, I have never walked away from a game actually thinking that it could have been rigged. That 1st Seattle TD was a TD. He didn't push him he turned away from him. The 1st Pitts TD was NOT across that goal line. The pass that got called back that would have put Seattle within a yard of the goal line... there was nothing wrong with that play. I clearly saw on one of Hasselbeck's sacks that the Pitts player got at least a 1 second start before the snap and no call was made.... he was past the Seattle defense before the ball was snapped!! That game should have been 17 - 14 Seattle. I know that if I was a Seahawks fan that I'd be pissed today. I wonder what those refs are gonna buy with their payoff money? |

HAHAHAHAHA... first of all that's not true and second of all I don't see what role that would play in a thread about sports either. No need to start with the name calling now...
What it boils down to is the fact that you have nothing to back it up. That's cool and all.... I mean if they're your team you'll back them to the end even if the calling was slanted your way. I mean if it was a Canucks game and the calling went their way in a game I'd do the same. It's the nature of sports. Yours truly, Mr. Negativity (apparently) |

All i said was...he did push off of him in the endzone, anyone that watches football would know that. I mean the first Steelers touchdown...I dont think was a touchdown, Roethlisberger didnt even get over the line. All i was saying was...there will always be calls that ppl dont agree with , thats the world of sports!

^That is what you said to me :) I was just defending my apparent negativity. I'd like to think I'm a pretty happy guy for the most part. Most people who know me don't think I'm a Negative Nancy or anything. I'm so happy that hanging out with me is like playing in sunshine and drinking unicorn giggles.... it's pretty much infectious. PS - That was SO a touchdown :) |
