Xyience Conspiracy : UFC Champ Fight Fixed?
Xyience Conspiracy : UFC Champ Fight Fixed?
OK anyone who saw the fight that was anticipated as the "most anticipated UFC fight EVER" -- Liddel vs. Couture 3 .. had to have seen the slip. That bizarre, "OOOPS" that cost couture his balance, the fight, spelled the end of his career. Couture was sponsored by Rock Star. Liddel by Xyience. UFC in general is heavily sponsored by Xyience. Tonnes of Xyience ads. Xyience makes you a winner, Xyience makes you a champ, etc. I'm sure Xyience did NOT want Couture to win, when after all, he doesn't take Xyience! Sure Liddel was younger, and the current champ, but he's also powered by Xyience! So what I'm proposing, is that either Xyience greased Couture's feet, zapped him with an electrode, or paid him to fix the fight. do you believe there could have been any tomfoolery in 'the slip' to gurantee a Xyience-finish ending where the Xyience-champ is #1 all thanks to Xyience?? |

I honestly don't think so... I mean first of all, Coutore took a similar slip in their last fight too. I think it was just an unlucky stumble. You could see he pushed off his foot to deliver a right and it just fumbled under the pressure he placed.
On top of that I think that at this point, with the UFC resurging in it's popularity with both long time fans and with new ones, they don't want to risk some sort of smear of 'fixed fights' They pride themselves on real fights and I'd like to think they stick to it. I was pulling for Couture myself... would have been nice to see the old guy comeout on top, but then again I wasn't gonna kid myself... Liddell is a fucking monster in that octagon. |

here's the last 10 seconds of the fight, you can see the slip:
http://www.youtube.com/w/Chuck-Lidel...&search=Lidell I'm sure Liddell has come a long way since the first Couture fight .... I'm just surprised at how an athlete like Couture, knowing a false step could cost him the fight, and knowing that losing this fight would mean retiring ... I'm surprised he'd slip like that... just doesn't seem like something a fighter of his caliber would do, especially so early in a fight he's trained so hard for. doesn't it seem disapointing, in the slightest, suspicious in a more sinister light?? maybe not, i was kinda joking about the greased feet comment... but that slip sure did suck ass. |

I don't think an older veteran with integrity like that, would build up a career and agree to slip the fight and lose on purpose. it would go against everything he's worked for. doesn't really make any sense. If a corporation came to him and told him they'd pay him to lose a fight, he'd probably laugh and tell everyone what a joke the company is. especially if he isn't sponsored by them.

Randy didn't take a slip, he just didn't place his feet properly and Chuck was on him light white on rice. Chuck took the oppertunity, he was very patient and waited for a opening and got one. Chuck is a very young fighter and he is alot faster than Randy.
It was another sweet victory for Chuck. I been watching UFC for so many years, its as real as it gets. Can't wait for UFC 58 in March. |
