Jan 27th, aprox 2:20 in the PM, I find myself on my way to work. I arrive at the sky train platform, its the same people waiting for the same train everyday... Altho some cute Asian girl catches my eye on the opposite track. Gotta love asian girls, you really have to... I casually walk up to her deciding what I'm going to open up the conversation with. I make it obvious that I'm going to say something as I'm walking up with the right amount of eye contact then in my best Chinese possible I slyly open with "Neh-ho-mah!?" the equivalent to "hey, how you doin'?" there was an odd pause and a slight look of disappointment on her face between my greeting and her response when suddenly, in perfect English she snaps back "I'm Japanese you idiot!"

Without any response and earily perfect timing her train comes, the doors open and she simles as she gets on the train and casualy says "bye!" in that cute little way Japanes girls do while waving her hand. I waved back without saying a word standing there on the sky train platform with an egg on my face. Shiet.
