Well again it all comes down to extremism.... Obviously the extremists want to reflare up even something more fierce and blame it on the west... However this time it appears to have back fired on them and now muslims are fighting amoungst each other.

Extremists... holy warriors... government.. blah.. blah... blah...
Easy to say but you forget the innocent people caught in the middle of all this chaos. Now that I have been one it does make me wonder what goes through the minds of those who wish nothing but for all of it to end so they can go to sleep and comfort the thought of having a good chance of waking up and seeing the sunrise. |

Well its extremism that is causing violence and the innocent people are the one's who are targetted plain and simple. Right now in iraq there has been more innocent people killed by these "extremists" then there was when the bombs started falling onto baghdad combined with the death of american soldiers.... Its only going to get worst.... Everyone is turning onto each other.. Might as well just head out into the woods and live no where close civilization..... who do you trust?? |

I knew this would devolve into a religious war from the beginning.
Remember, the humanitarian crisis in Africa is far worse. What about all the Tutsis in Rwanda that were largely ignored. heres some current events for ya http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/4744812.stm |

My point wasn't to start a debate but feel free to continue your arguements as it is a healthy topic to discuss.
My point is to those people who think they have it bad right now and how they feel their freedoms are oppressed, how their parents treat them like crap and so on. I'll step off the soap box now. Carry on. :c-tard: |

Well the U.N/NATO absolutely disgusts me. What I am about to say may offend some people but really if you look at the whole picture it makes sense and its disturbing. The U.N/NATO is nothing more then a pack of racists. It seems like the dark one's skin is then the less they will do or if you believe into the opposite of 1 of 2 religions then your again absolutely ignored. In reality you look at the panel of representatives for the nations. The majority of everyone on the U.N/NATO panel are white and even more worship 1 of the 2 largest religions in the world thus being christianity. I mean sure they will always bring up the subject "there's a crisis in africa" but do they do anything?? They don't do a damn... They have the money to hand over.. easily they won't because of the people's color. All they do is bring 2000 NATO troops that are probably the most deadliest pack (will get into details later) and they do absolutely nothing. People are being starved to death and butchered and all NATO does is nothing. If you ever get th chance get the book "Shake hands with the devil" by Romeo Delaire. He is a former canadian forces commander that was sent to rwanda and was literally given NOTHING to work with. Another example is Kosovo... Absolute bloodshed... Muslims being slaughtered. Men and boys primarily rounded up only to be guned down. Absolute innocent. By the time NATO actually stepped in... it was to late... and when they did step in again they dragged there ass. There are a whole shit load of army generals and government officials that have not been captured.... Don't tell me they don't know where they are... they know exactly where these people are. Now my cousin used to be part of the blackwatch which is a faction of the canadian armed forces that is specially branched for NATO/U.N missions. Right now since he's been out of the blackwatch for 4-5 years he still has to see a psychologist. He's one of those people that they called "peace keepers". Well let me tell you something there is nothing "peaceful" about them. When he was deployed in Haiti and Kosovo the amount of bloodshed that happened and they he saw his colleges doing and even himself has left him traumatized. Its so bad he wakes up in the middle of the night often in panic attacks freaking out... oh and by the way... the canadian forces refuse to pay for any of the psychological bills.... The stories he's told me are just well I dunno unhuman... A perfect story of the so called "peace keepers" is this one. http://www.whatreallyhappened.com/RA.../UN/peace.html Have a read... Anyways enough typing.... Again sorry if I may have offended anyone but you have to look at the big picture here. |

Thre was something on CBC radio today that Canada military is taking over from the USA in Afghanistan, Kandahar area.
They said that extremists are destroying the schools, demanding that the only education and book that is needed is the Koran. They usually burn down or blow up the schools at night but in one incident they beheaded a teacher in front of the students. Bad times indeed. |

Roithschilds, biltebergs, rockerfeller, fre emasons, illuminati etc etc etc. The UN/NATO is going to be one of the forces responsible for the down fall and eventual collapse of the world as we know it. Youre so focused on whats going overseas when you should REALLY be paying attention to whats going on in your own back yard. There are already...i guess you could call them concentration camps that have been put up in Northern BC courtesy of the UN...just a precurser of things to come.Another strong hint is the amendments that have been made to many laws in both canada and the US. As for the people of the UN being mostly Christians...why would one of the embassadors David Spangler make a statement such as "anyone who wants to be apart of the new age will have to undergo a luciferian initiation" ...which would be pledging allegience to lucifer? anyways. |

B0ld, the notion that liberal institutionalism is a failed/flawed concept is a popular one. Mainly realist scholars who disagree with insitutions. They believe that the self-interested states and the anarchic nature of the international system makes mutual cooperation impossible.
I admit, these institutions have failed many times but that doesen't mean we should take the cynical realist perspective. We just need to modify these systems and create better enforcement and checks/balances mechanisms. When Nato intervened in Bosnia they just did a butcher job. Mid-altitude bombing to produce no casualties(on their side,) which did nothing to fix the situation. Thats the major factor though, humanitarian intervention is superficial insofar as it losses support when someone on our side dies. Which leads to the question, are we willing to intervene in places like Africa to stop militant genocide if it means heavy casualties? Are states like the US willing to intervene if it doesen't serve national interests? |
