Didn't really have to many problems myself when going to house parties when i was like 17 and 18. 13 and 14 years tends be like riled up kids, especially when drunk cause most of them don't know to even drink properly anyways if there is such a thing at that age. Poor girl didn't even know how to drink properly. Didn't she get liquor poisining. and i heard that when they too her to the hospital the house was mostly ok it was after that kids came back and tore it apart. Again 13, 14 years old like bigger riled up kids. They didnd't get what they wanted a house party that kepts going what did they do come back and throw a fit in a teenager way. Poor family well not so much the girl |

All the house party's I went to have always had respectful people attending... I have never thrown a house party in my parents house... I would be scared shitless if ANYTHING got stolen... My moms fiancée collects memorabilia from the 60 & 70's ... and I could just imagine what would happen to me if his Vote JFK poster got stolen :s. Plus the next door neighbors are rats. So Id never get away with it. Where I live now is another story... the only damage done to my condo while having toga partys in the summer is that my white carpet isn't so white any more :s I stopped having party's here. Strata is really strict. Last edited by Lil Jenna; Mar 02, 06 at 06:36 PM. |

I've been having parties since the days of spin the bottle. I guess I've been fortunate enough to have friends who are very respectful and take as much responsibility for the house being left standing as I do.
When I lived in Calgary with my parents, they were in attendance for half of our parties. Being super cool, they socialized with all of us and the result again was a ton of respect for our place when my parents weren't around. The only inkling of trouble would come when a parent would ask their hungover/still wasted child where they had been the night before! |

Someones grounded for life! I hope that comunity gets together and gets all the kids who went to the aprty to help out in some way. I dont understand how some ppl think they can trash someones house just becuase the're drunk.
I remember throwing one real party with the under age drinking etc... Luckly it wasnt my actual house as we had a space to rent out at my co-op. Of corse chaos happend as some of the kids were throwing books and chairs onto the busy street from the balcony. I leanred my lesson in the morning when my mom made me clean my friends puke out of the lether couch. |

I have hosted more house parties then I can count!
I started throwing parties, without parental supervision when I was 15. The first few parties shit happened, a knife fight, broken door, beer spilt all over my mom's bedroom floor, house phones stolen, lawn furniture on my porch smashed. but whatever, I kept throwing parties, ahah natural born event planner/promoter! As I got older and so did the people attending my parties, less shit went missing and got broken. 13 year olds, all that matters to them is their friends. Don't you remember being that age? Obviously this chick that held the party, has parents that are wealthy and split up, she is probley already sexually active and is drinking all the time because she doesnt get any attention from her partents. She is rebelious because she is lost and at the worst possible age. 13, means grade 8 so she was just introduced to highschool, parties and "hot older guys". fuck when I was in grade 8 I was such a good kid! lol I wouldnt really punish this kid if she was mine. I would make her get a job and eventually pay it off. but I would talk to her and start spending more time with her. Teach her shit about how people work and interact with each other. I blame her parents mainly. Fuck, most parents fucking suck! |

I used to throw fucking awesome house parties on a pretty regular basis.
The biggest one was when I was 16, it was for Jay's 19th and Dom's 20th - I'm sure that some of you guys remember! Around 150 people showed up, but they were all invited and nothing went wrong. My parties always went off without a hitch for two reasons: 1. I had my big guy friends bouncing 2. I'm a bitch. If I didn't know you or invite you, you weren't coming in. PERIOD. |

we used to throw them at my friends house in nanaimo. basically there was a guaranteed houseparty every friday, saturday and sunday, whether he wanted it or not. we'd get noise complaints all the time, but there were so many people there that we'd all just throw in a few bucks and cover the tickets. this stopped when one night we got three and the police came back and took my buddy to jail for the night. it was around that time that we just started throwing raves instead, haha.
