Well it seems it was in nearly everyones best interest for him to die before the end of his trial. Western powers were sketchy about the possibility of people of power being called as witnesses. With his death in prison everyone can say "well we were bringing him to justice but he died on us".
I'd also say that rulers aren't usually enthusiastic about other rulers being put on trial and convicted; sets a bad precident.
So yeah, I'd say he was poisoned.
Although i'm sure the autophy will surely say otherwise *rolls eyes*.
