Introducing my cousin to the wonderful world of electronica.

So....
My 17 year old cousin appears to be getting into electronica.... She used to listen to all these punk/emo local bands in montreal and just like she said "they can't play worth shit!!" lol... Anyways was chatting with her and such and she is starting to dig electronica... She doesn't know what types of genre's there are out there... She only initially named "infected mushroom" which I explained to her that it was psy trance... she didn't have a clue... so I had to explain to her what psy-trance was about.... She also been listening to benassi, global deejays, david guetta.... (thanks to her brother) but she didn't know that that was called "house music". So I lectured her in a bit... sent her a few acid techno tracks... a few trance tracks and such... she heard of this type of music.... Well she never heard of drum and bass... well after introducing her with sending her one of b.traits sets and illesha's sets as well as the video of pendulum in san francisco I think I got her hooked on drum and bass.... Sent her some experimental stuff as well that she digs.... but she is now glued on drum and bass..... hahahahhaha

haha, but seriously, that's wicked. Especially that younger people (like me) are getting into the scene, and drum n bass in particular. I just got my little brother into a wicked drum n bass mix, and he's been listening to it while he plays C-Strike and WoW for days now. Maybe a few years of listening to "rave stomp" as he calls it will convince him to smoke a joint or something.
