For some people, they experience the feeling of sensitivity because their enamel is thinner... for others it makes their gums sensitive, which in return makes their teeth sensitive. It could just be your teeth and I think it mentions on the box that that might happen and your teeth might be sensitive for a while. My ex experienced that so you're not the only one.

I use the premium ones 2x a year, my teeth are pretty white to begin with but it's nice to do that for a bit of extra maintenance.
I find that when I am using them it does make my teeth a wee bit more sensitive to cold/hot foods and drinks, this is probably because they are actually removing all the stains layering our teeth that protect us from that stuff and it goes away within a few days. Anyways the difference is totally noticeable after I use them so they are well worth the price. |

Fantasy, i would suggest using the strips until you've used them all up and then use the whitening toothpast but not both at the same time. while you use the strips you could use Sensodyne which will help relive some of the sensitivity. Last edited by European; Mar 22, 06 at 05:41 PM. |

I was goin gto go pick up a box today after work but now I dont know if I want to or not...
On a scale of 1-10(10 being painful) how much did they hurt?? Ive had all sorts of work done to my teeth so Im not new to dental pain... Just wondering how much they hurt. |

My dentist told me never to touch the stuff.
He said it was just another form of bleaching your teeth, and that the law of diminishing returns applies. The more you use them the more porous the enamel on your teeth gets. So with continued use your teeth will look less and less white and become less and less healthy. |
