that kind of technology is just going to be developed further and further...
large scale printers are such an interesting avenue of art and design.
3D printers are becoming more and more common tools for production and that basically means that you can make/model anything you can draw in a CAD program. CNC routers can carve a huge range of materials on the xyz axis while stereolithography literally turns a chemical liquid to solid with a lazer, layer by layer.

it allows computer generated designs to be made for mass production.
i can't wait until the technology starts to shrink and becomes more affordable for an individual, maybe our kids will have domestic 3D printers to make their own toys or you will be able to buy a wireless spray can control device that attaches directly to your wall.
