i don't want to mark up my body...but did you hear about pamela anderson? she says she got hep c from a dirty tatto needle....

yes, i heard about that. when you get a tattoo though, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS make SURE the needle comes out of either a sealed package, or one of those sterilizer ovens they have, and if it isn't.... LEAVE! and ask the tattoo artist about his/her needles, where they get them, what they do with them. a good artist will wait until you're there and take the needle out right in front of you, some of them even explain where they come from just to be sure you know.
i don't know why she'd use someone else's needle, even if it was her husbands. it's just one of those things....
i like my tattoos:)

every tatto artist i've ever seen isn't really the type of person you just ask questions too you know? liable to kick the questioners ass.

you'd be surprised, all the ones i've met are actually pretty nice people, they haven't minded explaining things to me at all. appearances can be decieving, i try not to judge on looks alone. and besides, if someone goes to a tattoo place and wants to know about anything tattoo related, it's their job and their responsibility to answer the person's questions. if they're bitchy and mean to potential customers, people will go somewhere else and they won't get much business, it's pretty simple.

Yeah she says she got it from one of Tommys needles. Well HepC is also a sexually transmitted disease.. if she got it from him in any way, it would have been the latter. her publicists are going nuts because she apparently -doesn't- have the disease, she's just saying that she does as a desperate attempt to win her custody case.

I don't have any tattoos.. yet.
I know I want something small on the back of my neck [jess, did yours hurt?] but I keep changing my mind on what I want.. and there's no way I'm getting something permanently inked on my body just to change my mind two days later. lol

i love the summerlove fairy... was thinking of getting her somewhere. my lower back's already got a butterfly though so we'll see.
i really like the winterlove fairy too, with the snowflake kind of wings, pretty:) i want to get something with a snowflake cuz i love winter, snow and skiing.
