Edmonton will choke. I just want to see Kevin Lowe get fired for the dumbo trades he made. Rolly will just prove it in the first round of playoffs that's IF they make it at all.

also dont expect many " would be " canucks fans to reply to this thread.

most of the so called fans were quick to jump off the bandwagon already .

also dont get me wrong . i know we havent secured a spot either .. but all we need is a point in 2 games.

GO AVS GO

^sorry mAng --- wuts good for me ?

last time we had our discussion .. u were praising Dave Nonis for stealing the show @ the trade deadline.

sayin that Wienrich , Carney & Noronen would lead them into the playoffs.

Im not rippin u for that tho ..

But I did say it was rather stupid to trade away all those draft picks.

I`ll be honest .. i want the Canucks in the playoffs .. i dont need to tell u why . its just sad that a stanley cup contender on paper cant make the playoffs.

If the Canucks win today. The Canucks will be only a point behind with one game to play.

We still have a huge chance. Don't forget edmonton still has to plat colorado on monday and by the looks of it will need at least a point

Yep.

P.S: that Carney give away was pathetic.

Weinrich better be gone for the next season.

Overall this season. The Canucks showed up for the first half of the season and disappeared after the second half

I smell Crawford getting yelled at, even though it's not his fault, there was just no chemistry this year for the Canucks... ah well, I was really looking foward to play off parties and what not, seeing as I was starved of them last year due to the lock out, but I guess not!

i'm not really disappointed or surprised.

we sure as hell didn't show any "A" game in quite a while. our fate was in our hands the entire time, yet we'd always fuck it up. even after edmonton was trying to eliminate itself from the playoffs.

season's been a right off for me quite a while ago. nothing short of winning a cup this year would have solved those problems so at least this should really wake up the canucks management. instead of the "we made it in a round or two, we're not that bad" bullshit false hope we get every year.

It's just as much Crawfords fault as the rest of the team. His job is to make sure there is chemistry there. He isn't a very good coach anyway, anyone could have one a stanley cup with the team he had in Colorado.

It's too bad though, now I don't have anyone to watch when Montreal isn't playing :)

THANK U VANCOUVER CANUCKS FOR PROVING ME RIGHT !

MOST OF ALL FOR CLINCHING THE AVS A PLAYOFF SPOT!

couldnt say i actually thought w/ EVEN SALARY CAPS ... less talent & same opponents .. that the AVS would finish ahead of vancouver.

but i guess it just shows which team was better coached and had better team chemistry all along.

It will be a looong off season in Vancouver... good thing Nonis made all those trades @ the deadline. . he was GOD for 2 days .. Im sure Carney , Brown & Wienrich will look solid back there next yr ..

FIRE EVERYBODY!

JOE SAKIC WILL REPRESENT VANCOUVER.

Well ya Crawford has lost some of his magic. I mean the shelf life of an average NHL coach is like 3 to 5 years maximum.

but ya i still blame alot of this on losing burke to anaheim via stupid John Mccaw and orca bay crap.

bujt ya lets see what happens in the off season.

p.s: go colorado or ottawa

A sad ending to a lesss then mediocre season. I knew it would happen but I was still hoping that they would some how pull it off. Thankyou Vancouver for showing your fans that you really dont care enough to put in the extra effort.
As per edmonton they weren't playing much better, unless they get lucky, Detroits going to roll over them.

dallas will destroy edmonton. so i'm not worried.

this was not our year. plain and simple. not our year.

i just hope the franchise doesn't make any too many big changes in our roster before the beggining of the next season. i don't wanna see our team crumble to nothing because of a couple of desperate and stupid trades.

Man I was worried about Montreal not making it, turns out they are 7th in their conferece but they are one of the hottest teams in the league right now 10-2 in their last 12. Everyone else is already playing playoff hockey while the Canucks were sitting on their asses.

The only ones worth keeping are the twins and Carter. I hope they rebuild the whole team, I might actually become a fan if they do :)

I think Salo deserves to stay.

but yea I think everyone does need to take a big look at the Canucks core.

The main core: Naslund, Bertuzzi, Ohlund, Jovo *morisson definetly is expendable now*

i think Naslund may or may not stick around. I think the canucks will somehow resign ohlund and jovo

the others are all expendable including naslund, but its more his choice than the team

Fire Crawford

trade Bertuzzi
trade morrison
trade jovanoski
trade Naslund... still a great player, but he only has 1 or 2 seasons left in him, trade him while he's still worht something.

Fire Crawford.

to trade bertuzzi is gonna have to be for a desperate team. Considering how much his salary is worth even with the salary roll back its still in excess of 5 million +

crawford will most likely be gone his shelf life as a coach has passed
