Getting paid early!
So I was all set thinking I couldnt go out tonight because I had no money until tomorrow morning(Direct deposit). But to my surprise when I checked my account this morning it seems I had recieved my paycheque 1 day earlier :)

if you are supposed to get paid on the 15th and the end of the month, and your pay day lands on a weekend, most companies will direct deposit the money a day early since most banks are closed on weekends.
today is a holiday, i would have thought they would give you money on thursday
