yea i totally feel that riff. haha one time i was in this sketchy kids car (ask what i was doing there, and i probably couldnt tell you), and he was listening to the most hurting experimental trance that could possibly exist. then somehow that riff popped up, and i was instanly revived from my shroom hangover state, then a trance beat kicked in and i told him to turn the sacrelidge off before i kicked his teeth in

If you like this song, you should download Weird Al's parody "Money For Nothing/Beverly Hillbillies" (named so awekwardly by lawyers). Mark Knopfler (the creative force behind it all) only gave Al the right to parody his song on the condition that he got to play lead guitar for it. As he'd been playing that song on the road for four years by that point, the version he played had more of a looser, improvisational feel. Didn't you wonder why that track always sounded so good when you were young?

Yeah I heard that song for the first time on the radio and i was like "WTF IS THIS?? THIS IS SICK" and then I tried making a remix of it...but then I found Deep dish made a house remix and it was exactly how I imagined it so I bought it on vinyl. Tru story.
