looks like i have a citizenship card!!!!! ...thanks guys, i was confused and thought it was expired.. it doesnt expire...doh.

so ya a citizenship card and a bc drivers license should HOPEFULLY get me across..... im gonna call them tmrw to double check.

i dont feel like reading every other post...

my mom works for the border...so heres the d/l

you do not need a passport, it is not requires however us customs have been extremely sticky with having one, worse comes to worse, they pull you inside, look thru your car, and make you fill out some little form saying you wont bring back stuff like livestock etc.

it is ok if you have an expired passport as long as you still have something else to back it up like a drivers license.

make sure you do not have a photocopy though of your birth cert or passport... they will not except that

i cross the border twice a week. my boyfriend sometimes comes up from seattle with me and he didn't bring his birthcertificate with him. we were taken into customs and given a runaround. they told him he'd be denied entry if he came back with no birthcertificate or passport.
