WARNING: Capers Crowd
I'm not sure if any of you guys have heard, but there is a warning out to all patrons who have recently ate at "CAPERS" - all locations within the lower Mainland.
There is a possibility for a *Hepatitis A* outbreak, due to an infected employee (food handler) at the Kitsilano location. Anyone who bought any salad dressing, peanut sauce, barbecue sauce, or ate at the salad bar (including wrap, coleslaw, vegetarian or bocconcini panini) within the *last month* are advised to get an emergency injection for the deadly Hep A Virus. Symptoms develop between 15 to 50 days after exposure. The symptoms of hepatitis A include nausea, vomiting, fatigue, fever, abdominal pain, dark-coloured urine, light or whitish-coloured bowel movements, and jaundice or yellow colour to the skin and eyes. In most people, the illness only lasts a few weeks and they recover completely. So be cautious... go to the nearest clinic and find out where you can get the ISG vaccine.
