I read somewhere that its because our circulation is different. men's blood vessels are evenly distributed throughout their bodies, whereas women's are more concentrated around their internal organs, esp. the reproductive organs, because we're supposed to be able to better nourish a fetus (yuck).

Don't have anything to back that up with but it seems like a plausible enough theory.

This is the time of year where I curse the fact that I work inside huge metal cans that sit in the sun all day lifting heavy ass shit. Actually, every time of year is that time. :(
