Childishness? Asides from me loosing my cool in the fact of your blatant prejudice to culture, history and even common sense, I gave you some facts, some current realities, some going ons in government and some historical context. What else should I employ? Song and dance perhaps? Or maybe I should get onto fox news and give my reports, as you seem to garner all your knowledge from such sources? Your belief that people are getting on my side as a result of me labeling you as a racist means two things; a)you haven’t been here long enough to realize that more often than none tons of people disagree with me. b)that everyone else on this board who agrees with me, are so stupid and ignorant that I was able to win them over with a few declarations and hat tricks I’m not here to go after you personally, you aren’t even a conceivable threat to anything other than intelligence. I responded to you because of your adherence to the idea that the current state of war and occupation in the middle east has anything to do with "terrorism" I continued after you started to refer to people in the middle east as "they" and "extremists" and etc etc. ps: What exactly is a "glorified politicaly correctl stance?" If we understand the where "politically correct" actaully came from and why it was used, then my beleifs would be as far from the original definition/use as you can get. How bout we get back to the middle east? And how fundementalist muslims are going to level the western world as soon as we pull troops out. |

I am curently under the precarious position of wondering whether to laugh with or against you, due in part to the fact that you have not only discredited yourself by calling all who side with you as ignorant and stupid.
Notwithstanding i also am understanding that you have just alluded to the fact that indeed........you argue for the sake of argument. My generalistic labelling as THEY and EXTREMISTS was spoken under the inclination.......a hopeful one at best, that perhaps..............since we are all at least educated within our beliefs of what is right that we would look a bit further than the literal context that was spoken. There is some hypocricy in what you say however, if siding with one is childish, then why allude to such people yourself? Yet if they do side with you, they are ignorant and stupid. A strange contradiction, and it makes the basis of arguing with you seem.....rather fleeting in its importance. |

I dont write to argue, i write to incite. I write on this board because there are a whole lot of intelligent young people on this board. Im a 27 year old organanizer in the city, who believes that conversation, such as even this one, need to happen. You're speaking about looking into things in depth and critically and yet everything you have shared comes straight from mainstream media and governmental announcements with no analysis or consideration of the state that poor/working people find themselves in today. If you want to continue a real conversation (without generalization or prejudiced remarks) then hit me up. The organization I work with has tons of events going on in the next little while and we have tons of info on our site. You can also check out our editorial site http://www.firethistime.net and MAWO's site http://www.mawovancouver.org my personal info is on my sig. |
