What do you do when you have a really bad headache, and you're afraid of taking MORE asprin for it? I've taken at least six pills in the last day alone. And that's not healthy. :293:

hot compress on your head..
i get super bad migraines all the time...the best thing for that is to take 1 or 2 advils go into a dark comfortable room and sleep it off. also massage your temples!!

Relaxation is the way to go. Try drinking some herbal tea, I hear peppermint is good for headaches.

And no, 6 pills is not healthy. lol.

Go see a doctor. A simple headache could be signs of something worse like a blood clot.

If you have taken 6 pills and no relief is in sight I would go get checked out.

I used to think I had a brain tumor because I had nonstop headaches that didn't go away, but it turned out to just be muscle tension in my neck.

I'm not trying to scare her, but you have to figure out the worst case scenario and anything else is just bonus.

OK ok you are right.. if I did not assume the worst about my headaches, I wouldn't have gone to the doctor, and therefor would not know about the muscle tension thing.
I take back my scaring statement. lol

if no other relaxation stuff works then try getting a massage. sometimes people get headaches because their shoulders and neck muscles are too tense.

massages are nice...hot magic bags are nice to put on ur head...a relaxing bath..aromoatherapy stuff sumtimes works...hot drinks..??..anything comfortable and soothing...if all fails..its back to the meds..~
