i was going to, just seeing if there was someone on here who could do it now, so i could see how it look drawn out
i feel obliged to get it done right away if i get a tattoo artist to do it...and im still deciding. plus im not sure where i want to go yet to get it done, the guy that did my last one sucked ASS |

Krista, you don't have to get it done right away or feel obligated you could always just go in and choose an artist talk to him about your idea and make an appointment for a later date if you decide you want that artist. |

thank you they mean a lot to me, i got stars on my wrist after my grandfathered passed away, when i look at them i think of him, and others i have lost, although i need to get them redone cause they suck right now and the orchids remind me of my grandmother, they were here fave flower and what she carried at her wedding to my grandpa, as well they are my aunts faves, and one of my moms, and they are the perfect simple elegance |

Instead of wasting a tattoo artists time or the time of an artist on the board perhaps do a little digging yourself? Call every shop in town and ask if they have anyone who specializes in flowers etc (or check websites), then pop in and check out their portfolio. If they don't have a portfolio it's a pretty good sign you should be looking elsewhere. When you're ready, bring in some decent references and chances are you'll end up with exactly what you want.

When I got my orchids done I just went through 50-some-odd pages of google images. I found one for the shape and one for the color...There's pics of them in the Sweet Stuff somewhere...My artist is Mark at Funhouse tattoos. All the guys there do amazing work.
*EDIT* Here's the thread with pics of mine. :) Last edited by MissBehavior; Jun 01, 06 at 03:03 PM. |

Another tip is to type in "orchid" in the deviantart.com search field. Hope you find something that works, what kind of orchid were you looking to get a tattoo of? |
