^ Air Canada is one of the most expensive Carriers around for going anywhere.

I recommend currently: Air Transat, Skyservice or Thomas Cook.

Most of these flights depart from Toronto so talk to your local Travel Agent and they can most likely work you out a nice deal.

Instead of buying just a one way ticket...a good idea is a open-end one.
I know you can get them for a year, maybe longer. Then whenever you decide to fly home you can book fairly easily.

Open ended Tickets are good for that... BUT! You have to remember that Airlines will take Passengers with confirmed tickets first. If you get an open ended Ticket you have to still keep an eye on Seat Availability with whichever Airline you choose.

Air Canada will not depart a Flight unless I believe it's 85% - 90+% of the Aircraft is filled. So book early and avoid hassle should you go this route. Some Airlines like SouthWest will actually overbook Flights because there is always a percentage of People that don't show up for their Flight. It's a common practice amongst low fare carriers.

In Europe there are plenty of bargain Carriers. So sometimes it's even a good idea to fly into a Hub like LGW (London Gatwick) or AMS (Schipol International in Amsterdam) and then take a bargain Carrier from there to wherever you choose your final destination to be. My Friend was telling me that you can get a Ticket from London to Warsaw for about CDN$120... which including Airfare to London still saved him almost $300 than flying directly to Poland.

With Air Travel there are many little tricks and loopholes to slip through. All it takes is dilligent research or if you're a hot woman and live in Toronto, you can sleep with me and we'll go somewhere nice for cheap.

lol Yeah, they work their Aircraft really hard. At least Maintenance is always there upon Arrival to make sure they're Airworthy. :)

Air Transat recently bought Thomas Cook Travel. So I'm at least hoping that means things will improve. heh If they paid us more that would be rad too...

If you talk directly with a Travel Agent and book now you might be able to work yourself into a deal by booking early. Or deal directly with the Airline.

It's good to get on that quick because there are big changes about to go on with Canada and US Immigration Policy in the coming Months.
