Roloson is gone for the finals?
I didn't watch the game but apparently Roloson is out of the finals, and probably with that almost any chance of winning the cup.

Exciting game, I'm not glad Roloson peaced but I'm not gonna jump on the Oilers band wagon either , the Oilers battled too hard with the Canucks all year long with the Nucks for me to even think about cheerin for them. All that stuff about them being from Canada dosent matter much cause a bunch of the boys on the Carolina roster are too. Brind'amour is from Campbell River.
Carolina in six(if rollies actually out) |

^ this always happens in van.
Last year Calgary was canada's team. p.s: I really hope they get rid of this 8 games against division teams crap. Fuck saving money, and start making the product exciting. Playing Colorado, Edmonton, Colorado and Minnesota 8 times is boring and wastes half the season. |

the fact that i personally hate pronger and smyth has a lot to do with this. or how i've been chirping consistently that 36yr old journeymen goalies tend to break down. newsflash. i'm a canuck fan. the ONLY city, canadian or american i wanna see win the cup is VANCOUVER. not whatever canadian bandwagon that happens to be hot. KENJI: haha dude i remember me and you hating on the calgary bandwagon, especially considering how tampa represented the "young/fast/skilled" nhl before the lockout. where as calgary was lame ol' trap action. |

hahah SOUTHEAST DIVISION WHAT!... yah its kinda wack having the cup down there.. but I could fucken car less if Edmonton got there like sixth cup in twenty years or wahtever.
and Carolina does have those hotties in the tight shirts cheerin them on so they get some points for that. |

This has been one of the best years for hockey period because the canadian teams were all in contention. Sure the leafs and the nucks sucked some major ass at different parts of the year, but it was exciting. I cheer on canadian teams, if vancouver plays anyone else(excpet for montreal) I cheer for them. Otherwise, i wanna see Canada do better.
Last night was a damn shame.... i wouldn't be surprised if Ryan Smyth puts on a clinic and wins game 2 for the boys. Unlikely, but if there's a team with enough heart to pull it out without a goalie, it's the Oilers...... Keep the dream alive... It's only game 1 |

Wow, the plot thickens. We're gonna really see what these Oilers are made of, now.
Before this series started, I mentioned how the Oilers had been riding momentum and a hot goalie. Now, thanks to a long layoff before the start of this series, a loss, and the loss of their keeper, they don't have either of those things. I'm with Kenji, I think they're done. But I wouldn't mind seeing them prove me wrong. Quote:

Words can't express how sad I am. .but... I still have faith...
It's going to be tough... I predicted the oilers to lose game 1.... but... this really sucks... and to those who left voice messages on my phone... Fudge you! bitter canuck fans piss me off. |

Maybe if you hadn't acted like a peacock in heat when the Canucks lost we might not be doing this now? In fact that's definitely the reason why. I would still be happy to see Edmonton win but just as happy to see your pathetic little ego crushed. It's really nothing personal. |
