Ya but those sharks were an inexperienced bunch. Carolina has players who have already won a cup like stillman. Some real veterans like Glen Wesley on the team and don't forget their captain.

i'm glad you understand, but i honestly place myself a hockey fan over a vancouver fan first any day of the week, just as you do with edmonton.

the only difference between us is i happen to dislike edmonton, but you do not dislike vancouver. and there's nothing wrong with that, we all just have our preferences.

i would never look down upon a person for being a oilers fan, nor a player who plays for them (unless if i didn't like the player in the first place ie: mike peca, rappy toreg, partrice bergeron), they have no control which team they go to (well, most of the time). but at the same time, i wish for their team not to succeed.

good for them if they wanted to do that,good for them if they don't. but it is not something i feel is a reqirement or "duty" of every canadian to root for the next candian team east or west of their position in the playoffs once their team is bumped out (or in my case, doesn't even make it).
