Hemsky was unreal in Game 6.
Im just happy MacT gets to stick it to those fans that were buggin him all series (as the Oil won game 5, he turned to the crowd and showed 7 fingers and said see you in 7, lol go MacT!) Definitly Oilers in 7 |

oilers have all the momentum....the only thing carolina has goig for them is that they got completely manhandled last game and that they couldn't get any worse
Laviolette was the only one that looked like he wanted to win game 6. Minus Cam Ward with the absolutely rediculous glove save. I think bringing Erik Cole in was a bit of a panic move as well( I know Cherry said it, but he's right ) OILERS IN 7 |

We'll just have to see.. I wasn't in Vancouver in 94 , didn't follow it as closely as this. All i have to say is the 9 day rest between the 3rd and 4th round sure as hell shows now for the Oilers... They are all healthy and are peaking at the right time

Compared to the first 3 games where they looked alot fresher they look worn down now. I was real suprised with the Erik Cole move as well |

Cherry was definilty right about Cole. I thought it was a joke at first. He did look good out there though. You could also see it as motivation for the Oilers too. Because if the Canes won and Cole didn't play he would not of been on the cup (as Filo pointed out to me). So its a stretch but you could take it as, we got this one in the bag and we want our best player to get a ring. The Oilers dominated the third period right until that last minutes. I think thats huge, they didn't give Carolina anything to go with in game 7. With Hemsky, Pisani and Smyth playing with as much as confidence as they have right now and healthy, its going to be tough to beat. And yeah poor Cam Ward, he is playing unbelievable and is going to be a star for Canada for years to come. GO OIL see you all at my place for game 7 (you know who are you) = winning recipe! |
