Over the past few weeks I have lost some weight. This is what I did...
Quit drinking completley (i have alot more money now too) download a yoga video. Yoga is so freaking easy and you can feel the burn the next day but it isn't bad enough to continue. Takes about 40 minutes a day and is basiclly just streching. Also, I got my wisdom teeth out. Lol, I can't eat much. This worked for me! Since you prob arn't getting your teeth out, when you go grocery shopping buy more fruits and cereal and yogurt. Things like that. do yoga and quit drinking for a bit. |

i'm going through the same thing right now! i cleaned up my diet and i really noticed a huge difference. Now just getting though the last few pounds is where i'm stuck. I've already started walking everywhere, but i need the extra kick to tone up.. BUT I HATE WORKING OUT. boooooooooo

1. Take up a fun sport and play with some friends. Or go for walks/hikes etc. And start saying no to bad food.
2 Take a class. Your forced to go. Personaly Maggie I dont really think you need to lose much more. If you want to tone I highly sugest pilates. |

you guys all have really good suggestions..
do i sense a shitload of really fit people talking to me, or are u like everyone else. they seem to know what to do to look good, but in reality, lazy lumpy pieces of ...? hahah i'm kidding, thanks for the advice, and thank you hardstylin for my plan, i cant wait to get started. I'll keep u all posted on how its going ;) cheers |

myra's idea about getting off a few stops early and walking to where things are closer is fabulous!!!!!!!! i walk from school to work everyday(about20minutes) and i ALWAYS take the stairs instead of an elevator.
and for me......i eat like a pig(or used to). and even little things like getting salad instead of fries on the side or potato crisps instead of potato chips and so on seriously made a huge impact. oh and when drinking highballs.........diet coke is your friend :) 0 calories |

For me what works it going on a decent run 3 times a week and I walk up this crazy crazy hill by my house once a week... then when I get home I do pushups and sit ups and tons of stretchin while litsening to music....
Also try and put physical activity into your regular day any chance you get....Like if your going to the beach bring a soccer ball and kick it around for a while... I dont gain weight too much but I drink quite a bit so doing this keeps me at good, slightly above nuetral weight and figure... ...Its more about feeling awsome after a good work out... Its so good for your mind and mental well being to work out. |
