She's home!
when i left for arizona in december i sent my horse away to my friends house in armstrong.
i haven't seen her since. but today, she arrived at the track! she's soooo hairy, her mane is 18 inches long! she really does look like she came straight from the bush. i spent over $400 on new stuff for her, all pink. pink polos, bell boots, spurs, buckets, brushes, halter, lead, saddle pad. everything. it's kickass. i'll try to get pics. i have pics of me riding max all tricked out in pink last night. lemme find them. |

i'll take the camera to work tomorrow and document the transformation from bush pony back to civilized show horse.
maybe i'll get some pics of some of the nice horses we have in training here. like Sahra Sam. oooo, yeah, i'll take pics of Sam and Bound To Be MVP. |

no, he's the most amazing 2yr old stud colt i've ever worked with.
he's one of our racehorses in vancouver, looking like a stellar boy too, we nominated him for the biggest 2yr old stake for the boys, The Ascot Graduation $175,000. he's supposed to race for the first time this weekend, hopefully he gets in. otherwise we might send him to seattle to run under charlies name. oh yeah, typo, his name is Sahara Sam charlie nominated his two nice mares, Me O Me O My and Kissintheboysgoodbye for a big stake next weekend in vancouver, depending what the handicapper gives for weights, he'll ship up from Emerald to run them. that'll be rad. |

I fell off a horse once, it winded me, and I haven't ever gotten back on one since! :(
But really, it is refreshing to see someone as excited as you are about your profession. Glad to hear you got your horsey back. And for the record, I would have all pink accessories too. |
