K hey, yesterday I spent the day with my absolute bestest friend which i havent seen in a while, and i took a picture with two rotties at the beach. That was pretty much a highlight. Thought I'd share with u. :P

Why do you assume they're idiots?
I had sunstroke/heat exhaustion last year at wreck and a hovercraft had to come and take me to the hospital.

isn't it your own responsability to hydrate yourself and get into shade on a hot day?

But they are idiots, its your own fault for putting yourself in that situation, you should know your bodys limitations. Many people will ignore the fact just to get a tan and end up getting sun stroke.

Funny how you guys are quick to reply when you don't even know the circumstances.

I was hydrated, I was feeling great - went down to the beach, unpacked and went into the water with Anya.
We hadn't even been at the beach for more than 15-20 minutes when I lost my vision and blacked out and then lost my hearing.
I couldn't walk or see anything and it was one of the worst experiences of my life.
They also had to give me a spinal tap at the hospital - i've never been in any sort of situation like that and the doctors still don't know EXACTLY what it was.

I take better care of my body than most people I know so don't give me this 'education and forethought' crap.
Things happen and sometimes they're completely out of your hands

mm, I don't think that that's what she's saying. It was really unexpected, it's not like we were in the sun for hours without water. What happened could have had many reasons, but I don't think everyone who has to get hovercrafted from Wreck is an idiot. Shit happens, we were lucky that the paramedics got there before anything more serious occured.
