Tons of people have been having weird issues since Windows Live Messenger came out... check your firewall settings, maybe remove and reinstall messenger... most of the problems have been client-side though and there are no server outages.

Thank god I use GAIM at home and haven't had an issue in like a week.

fixed this morning! no idea what it was - i walked through all the steps last night of checking the firewall, checking everything msn told me to check and came up with nothing. but out of nowhere today it works.
when it wasnt working, other peoples msn were working on my computer.
