Stand-by Tickets
I'm just wondering how I go about getting "stand-by tickets"? I'm planning to go to Europe (Poland) at the end of this month and the tickets are crazy expansive. My friend told me to get stand-by tickets, but I don't know how to get them. Do I have to contact the airport or something and ask for a stand-by ticket?
If stand-by tickets, are the empty seats on a plane that haven't been filled, then are they at a discounted price or are they regular price tickets? |

there called stand by for a reason dear.. you go to the airport and standby untill a flight has extra seats. as simple as that. no calling in.. there would be no point to call in as they only know 10 minutes before departure how many seats are empty.

look online, at say, travelocity, for a carrier that flys direct to poland from here. luck if you find any. then call them and ask.
more then likely you will have to go through toronto or a hub city in europe, or both. that will complicate things. |
