2D Photos into 3D Scenes
A group of optics scientists at Carnegie Mellon Universtiy somehow figure out a process to turn 2D photos into 3D scenes automatically (I gotta stress, this isn't the result of somebody wireframing by hand). The result is flippin' unreal. I can't wait to get my hands on this software... pretty please make it open source!
