Cheap printing solutions in Van

Some people I know are looking to get 100-200 cd liners printed:

-Full colour back liner (with sides)
-Full colour double sided, 2 page front cover

Could anybody reccomend some places?

-Imprint on Broadway, across from Kinkos, and beside the Fox + Firkn Speak to Dave (caution, he eats and sleeps and lives in that store, so sometimes he gets cranky with newbs)

-Industry Imaging (they only print from high res jpegs so get them to print heavy text sides from tiff format) But really good service, and great dispositions. Its on the corner of Wylie and West 1st ave.

-Grandmas printing on Commerical drive (across from cafe du soliel)

Stay the hell away from Kinkos, staples, office depot and such. No one in any of these establishments actaully know anything about printing outside of how to work their own machines, and even then their knowledge is limited.

Hmmm, we usually get really great personal deals due to the nature of the work we do, but perhaps we should chat sometime.

If you can beat:
11 X 17 " full color on standard semi gloss | single sided at 0.30$/per

or

the same but in b+w at 0.08$/per

(usually runs of 500 building up to 3000)

then lets talk!!!

I would like to see an example of the quality and a price reciept. I am able to beat the black and white poster price for steady clients or larger orders.
I have to look into the full colour. I can beat that through one company but it is such a hastle for me. If I can not beat that full colour price; we should talk about that. Maybe we can hook each other up.

Perhaps our hiphop festival next weekend may a good opp to chat. We do a MASSIVE amount of printing annually. We keep several option open at a time, and make sure they are aware of eachothers prices so we can get the most competetive price, as we run on moneys put up solely by organizers and donations through fundraising.

We currently print (representing 4 organizations)

>8.5 X 14" booklets, | color + b/w | saddle sticked + widthwise straight fold

>8.5 X 14" newsletters | b/w | double sided | lengthwise and widthwise folds

>8.5 X 11" boolets doubled sided | saddle stiched | color + b/w | lengthwise fold

>8.5 X 11" leaflets | two per page | single and double sided | b/w

>8.5 X 11" leaflets | four per page | singe and double sided | b/w

>11 X 17" posters | gloss + regular | color and b/w | single sided

>8.5 X 11" newspaper | regular newsprint stock | color | 26 - 40 pages

We currently go through Imprint, Grandmas, Industry Images and any student union or workers union print facilaties that have been donated.

We try to take on as much of the process, as a means to keep costs as low as humanely possible including ripping, formating, operating the machines, folding, cutting and stapling. Which is also why most of our printing is done through Imprint as Dave (owner) has us doing most of the work.
