Where in Vancouver has the nicest seashells for harvesting?

umm, cresent beach inwhite rock, i think is a good option, and yea, stay away from populated beaches cause they have probly been cleaned out

It depends what you are looting to harvest, clams I would suspect so look for a nice muddy beach at low tide White Rock is good or the mud flats out in Surrey Tsawassen aswell...

what kind of seashells are you looking for here? clams, sand dollars, oysters? we need details, man!

ohhh I know a really good place for sand dollars but it is pretty far away and you will deffinatly need a boat. Ohh and I know a good place to find moon snail shells.








PS: I have a pretty pink plastic shovel ohhh and yellow gum boots

new castle island has sand dollars and it's not really that far away.

they don't have as nice of a selection, though I do really enjoy New Castle great place to visit...

ohh ya they are the worst smart fuckin buggers.. The blond raccoons are the neatest thing to see. Ever hit up the Dingy Dock Pub?? if not I suggest it really good BBQ platter.




Edit: Also, ever go into the little rock caves made by the quarry?? much fun was had in those as a kid.

No it is the pub across the bay on protection Island it floats on the water. Jump off the paddlewheeler and bribe someone to dingy you over to the pub a beer is acceptable payment.



Though the pavillion cooks up a good meal..

It takes ya right across the middle of the bay... you can wade across the channel at low tide though
