Wow, hats off to dobbs for coming through with the critical assessment, although his numbers on the Iraqi death toll is far under par.
Did you know in falluja the US surrounded the city and bombed it to scare out the citizens and every man over the age of 14 was sent back in so that they could commit urban genocide. Even hospital patients didn't make it. |

Heres your sources John:
"In November 2004, US occupation forces launched their second major attack on the city of Falluja. The press reported major war crimes instantly, with approval. The attack began with a bombing campaign intended to drive out all but the adult male population; men ages fifteen to forty-five who attempted to flee Falluja were turned back." "It opened with the conquest of the Falluja General Hospital. The front-page story in the New York Times reported that 'patients and hospital employess were rushed out of rooms by armed soldiers and ordered to sit or lie on the floor while troops tied their hands behind their backs.' An accompanying photograph depicted the scene." "Turning beyond the US mainstream, we discover also that ' Dr. Sami al-jumaili described how US warplanes bombed the Central Health Centre in which he was working,' killing thirty-five patients and twenty-four staff. His report was confirmed by an Iraqi reported for Reuters and the BBC." "The US military denied the Iraqi Red Crescent access Falluja." "'Fixed establishments and mobile medical units of the Medical Service may in no circumstances be attacked.'" (under the Geneva Conventions.) Noam Chomsky, Failed States:The Abuse of power and assault on Democracy , pg 46-51 2006. The sources he has for this information is all highly credible as well but i believe it would be overkilling my point to post it all lol. There are other passages that say that a lot of the people left in the city were not even militants after initial attacks. There's really a lot more to it as well. |
