If you are looking for a Japanese sports car, I may have the thing for you.
I am starting a business importing them, and let me tell ya, these are fucking nice cars. Don't let me just say it though, see for yourself...thing to keep in mind is that these are dual headers, modded to the hizzy, and many are under 100 Ks so you got plenty of engine life in 'em. Ofcourse these would range at the 10,000 dollar mark at the least, which for some could be under a couple grande on their market value. Why so cheap? Because we want to turn heads and make fast sales to get the ball rolling, we'll still make some money, and with our clientel getting the cheaper price, everyone wins. We won't be doing them this cheap down the line because we don't wanna lower market value, but without further adeu, some samples of the ladies: |

If your not looking for new then a civic about few yrs old would prob run in that price range give or take. Efficient, cheap parts and easy to work on and for the most part fairly comfortable as long as your not riding in the back seat all the time

It's actually a 93 chevy silverado short box which is very rare. Not to mention it has air ride and is lowered. Its not like im trying to sell the thing to soccer moms. Its a custom and theres alot of meatheads around who want that type of thing. Definately something I grew out of. |

Actually, the Toyota Soarer was sold as the Lexus SC400 in North America. Both cars are identical except for the emblum, so finding parts for the engine is not that difficult. The Japanese have stringent laws for their vehicles including a yearly inspection. If they find an ounce of rust or dirt, they want the owners to replace the part before they can drive again. Buying a Japanese car (aka. Japanoid) is the way to go these days. You end up saving money and getting something that will last for years and years to come.
I think Mark has some pretty good cars for sale and you should definitely contact him, because he can hook you up. He's already helped me on a purchase and I have never been happier. |

I'm not denying that the imports are sexy and reliable, but you'll still pay out of your asshole for parts and service, even if lexus or some other North American company stocks parts. Try to stay avoid anything that's spent serious time in Ontario or other winter provinces where they use shitloads of salt. I'd recommend an accord or civic. If you're looking for something a little sportier, check out a 240sx or or an rx7. They're vehicles that last if you treat them good and hold on to their resale value. |

but hey, a rotary only has like 13 parts to it so you could pretty much rebuild it on the side of the road :) |

Im not the most knowlagable when it comes to cars, but my dad and I did allot of resuch together before I got my car and we basickly narrowed it down to toyotas or hondas. Its proven on the streets as a high majority of older cars are civics, corollas, accords etc. They also seem to have the highest value in the clasifies. Not to mention a great reputation for being very reliable econmical cars.
Although Toyotas have the cheepest repair costs... I picked the civic based on looks. PS: I of corse love my civic. |

Every rx7 i've ever been in that's been decently maintained, even the ones pushing 350-400hp have run like a dream. Last edited by Goat; Jul 24, 06 at 11:29 PM. |
