dropping 2 dress sizes

so far i'm down 2 dress sizes...YAY!!!

30 some odd pounds gone and never to return!!!!!!

just been watching what i eat...total portion control and i've been walking at least 4 times a week for at least an hour each time cause i cant get my ass to the gym

im ALWAYS eating too..constantly...so my metabolism is speeding up...but im not piling my face full of crap when i do it!

dop i have been doing the same but my weight loss is alot less maybe half. good work hun=)

My secret for remaining thin has always been: EAT LESS FOOD MORE OFTEN.

That and about 3-4 hours of walking a week in 30 minute bouts.

Good work thus far krista. =)

eat a lot of stuff with fibre....if u go down to the states or know someone who goes down a lot, get them to pick u up the 100 calorie snacks...they have TONS of them.

i always still kinda sorta follow weight watchers...so that helps

tons of veggies and fish and fruit...

not a lotta salt anymore, and something that helped...eating breakfast every morning, within an hour of waking up!

cool...i cutt out pop,choc, sweets, dairy mostly, and breads. i stick to mostly veggies n fruit with some chicken as i hate seafood. slowly but surly i hope to have acomplished what u have=) and no i dont anyone who goes to the states but meh..i need to walk more is mostly where its at..the heat makes it so much harder....so its my fault;) now if sexercise was involved hehehehe

im so proud of u...i know its hard and it sounds like ur doing really good=)

I'm on a steak and rice diet, supplemented with cigs and the occasional beer.

It's done wonders for my figure.

its so hard, in 2 years i've lost 60 pounds...and i gotta long way to go

quitting drugs and that damn depo shot really ballooned me out..grrr...but im healthy now and thats what matters!!

as for cutting stuff out...DONT....everything in moderation, i havent completely cut anything out, i just have stuff when i really crave it and dont let it ruin the rest of my day, i just be good the rest of the day...

if you cut stuff out you might not always have a proper balance, and you may crave it and substitute even worse stuff

and never ever let yourself get past of the point of hungry!

Good point....

i also had the weight gain from stopping drugs and partying hard. quitting smoking too and birthcontrol.

i herd if u eat alot of small portions daily then u will speed up ur matabilism. which i think is true. thanks for all ur tips hun im again im so proud of u cause i know how terribly hard it is to loose extra weight=)

Honestly, cutting out large portions of your regular diet is probably going to do more harm than good. sweets, bread and dairy are rather necessary parts (3/4 food groups, actually) of your body's chemistry, so cutting them out completely is just going to bite you in the ass. This is why I disliked Atkins so much when it came out.... So many people took "Eat less carbs" to mean "Cut carbs out of your diet" and huzzah, heart failure (which Dr. Atkin's died of, incidentally...).

Remember, it's not a matter of abstaining... if you really want to abstain certain foods from your diet you might as well try bulemia, it gives the same results.

Just trim it down and space out your eating times better. You'll get much better results.

What I've found is GREAT for the "cutting back without cutting out" is those Nabisco 100 calorie packs...We have them in Canadia as Chips Ahoy, Oreo and graham crackers.

I have one of those for my last break in the afternoon. I usually find that I want a crunchy snack (which usually leads to chips) by that time of day. These help kill the craving without killing my calorie intake for the day. :)

those are exactly what im talking about!!! they're fabulous, those havent definitely helped, the states has SO many more...cheetos, doritos, snack mixes, resses pieces, etc.

Definatly gotta head down to the states to go shoppin! Right now im currently on BC, and Im trying to quit smoking. I don't want to stop the BC but definatly the smoking. But i bet if i start walking and excercising, PLUS sexersing haha ill definatly go down and portions is the main key.

Congrats Krista! Im so happy for you! And proud as well. Not only for this but also for your school and other things that have been happening in your life. I don't know you but from ur posts and what not to me ur a real trooper! Keep it up.

thanks so much everyone!!! i thought i would post it cause i know awhile back i was asking everyone for advice, and wanted to say how well its going.

some people have asked for pics...and they arent getting them..hahaha not yet, im still fat, just not AS fat hahaha...i'll post pics the minute im down another 2 dress sizes....i promise!!!
