That's crazy to see. Supposedly on the other side of the battle my bf's cousins house got blown up in Nazareth. I couldn't imagine comming home to see my home gone. It reminds me how lucky I am to live in Canada.

Ummm while populated areas are being targeted by Hezbollah the death and destruction on civilians is disproportionate.

DURRRR... the Hezbollah purposely hide amongst Civilian Populations; so that once they are targeted for destruction by the Israelis of course some People other than the Hezbollah are going to get hurt. They hope to cash in on the People around the World not reading the entire Story and turning World favour against Israel and towards their cause. It's what Terrorists do. It only takes a couple deaths of non-coms to cause a ruckus these days. If the Hezbollah were to be hiding not in Cities they'd be fucking liquidated by the Israeli Forces in a few days. They know they can't win in a conventional Battle (Hell, no nation in the Middle East can rival their Armed Forces...) so they have to resort to horrid tactics involving their own People and the killing of other Civilians to win the political favour of other more influential Nations to get what they want.

That was exactly my point, doesn't matter which side is suffering more especially to the people who are living with this reality.

It's a tragedy.

I surely do not think the suffering of one can be less or equal to the suffering of another, although I can understand why my post was interpreted as such. I was just trying to raise awareness of what is happening. Israel's response to militant action can be categorized as collective punishment on the people of Lebanon. Israel is targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure that clearly do not house militants. This has already been confirmed by human rights organizations.

^ You're right. But without Power and Communications the Hezbollah and other Militant Factions cannot operate as cohesively. It's just logical really. If you disrupt the C Cube (Command, Control and Communications) you can take down a Hostile Unit with more ease. Also as a by-product of the Civil Population having no Power, it is hoped that the Civilians will realize that this is all happening to them because of their Country having the Hezbollah in such a powerful yet non-governmental position. Again, it's all just blowing up the right things to get the right peoples favour.

Let's also keep in mind the weapon's and support this terrorist organization has bin receiving from the Iranian and Syrian government's. These people's suffering has bin caused by many thing's not just Israeli aggression so you can stop trying to place blame on them.

This is a terribly complicated and horible situation which cannot be blamed on a single group. That is not my intention.

In this post you clearly placed blame on Israel saying they target civilian's on purpose.

blame for what exactly? the killing of civilians, or the entire situation?
I stated a fact, take it for what you will.

Not alone, multiple parties are accountable for the suffering in this situation not just one which you seem to be trying to say.

Did you also know that Israel has dropped many Leaflets in areas of Civilian concentrations and know Hezbollah positions telling them to evacuate for awhile while they bomb known Military Targets?

I say if you don't heed the warning... and you get hurt... well that's like pouring Hot Coffee on yourself and trying to sue when in fact it says on the Cup "CAUTION THIS IS FUCKING HOT OKAY?!?!"
