somewhere to sleep?
hmmmmm.... if people want to stay overnight or for the weekend in seattle, we might want to look into youth hostels in the area... I haven't been to any in the States, but in Canada, Hong Kong, and Oz they're pretty cheap (around $20/night). if there are any close by, it could be awesome if we had a bunch of people there together!

i think the best idea tho, if you are all going to go down as a group would be to greyhound it. that way they'res no pressure about the whole group [i mean, some adults, and the majourity of kids? kinda odd y'know? and then the whole over 25 and avredit card then..meh]
but if you all greyhound it together or something, it wouldnt' be noticed as much cause how they know you all know each other right? |

You want official F&K gear to wear?
If coming, just not in time for USC6 though. :( Unless you just want a T-Shirt. They should still have some at Hypnotik. I'm trying to work out a deal to get more hoodies made. As for getting down to the US, I feel that a vanload of partykids is going to have a hard time explaining why they should let you in. I gone down there many times and if you have a nice balence between adults and youths it is a lot easier to get across. You do need ID and if you don't have any everyone goes back or you go back home alone. :c-tard: As from bringing vitamins, I'm not saying you should, but if you do just bring it for your own use. I personally do not like the idea of picking up goods that are untested and the fact that you are in the US. If you have no medical insurance to cover you in case of something nasty you and/or your parents are FUCKED! The bill that is going to come will make your student loan look like chump change. If you do decide to bring stuff down with you know this: their drug laws are much different then ours. Why do you think drug peeps come to Canada? Anyway, to help avoid getting caught, make sure whatever you bring can be easily accessed when you EXIT your vehicle. THis means DO NOT crotch the shit. Keep it up your sleeve or something so if the boarder guard asks you to pull over you can drop the goods and grind them into the ground with your shoe and plead ignorance. It's better to have them be suspicious of you then to be caught red handed with something illegal in your possession. You do not want to fuck around with US Customs officers. They have SICK amounts of power. In fact if they wanted to they can ban you from entering the US for quite a while, 10 years if I'm not mistaken. When I go down there for business trip I need to bring a letter stating why, where and for how long. You don't give them lip and you always answer 'Sir'. Trust me. I've been pulled over once and when I watched then go nuts and search this family and their car, I was glad I had nothing to hide. If you kids do decide to go, I agree that jumping on the Greyhoyund is by far the safest route to take. It does suck once you get there as you have no transportation and everything costs 50% more so your money won't go as far. Oh yea! Canadian money is USELESS past Bellingham. I was running out of gas, tried to fill up and had a few hundered Canadian on me and they could care less. If you want to stay overnight cheap, either find the hostel or you have to exit the city limits and stay closer to the airport. As I said before it is about $60US a night and you can jam 4 people into a room quite nicely as they have two queen size beds. If you want more info let me know and I'll see if I can dig up an answer. |
