Karma
To me, the idea of Karma was best explained as a seed. Every action you do, good or bad, plants a corresponding seed. Your goal should be to have as many good karma seeds as you can, and as few bad seeds. Not all seeds grow to fruition, so sometimes you'll get the shitty end of the stick when you don't think it's justified, while other times you'll seem to run on good luck forever. Your character is defined through how you deal with both kinds, good and bad (poor losers, bad winners).
