Rave scene in Vietnam
Anyone been to Vietnam recently? Just wondering what the rave scene is like there. It's no secret that Vietnamese people of all generations living in Vancouver thoroughly enjoy raves (even moreso than native Vancouverites?). So my question is this: What's the scene like in Vietnam? (ie: Are they popular? Do they complain about the abundance of young caucasian ravers 'taking over' their parties? Do they have 'rave nights' every week at old-age homes?)

it's about clubbing more than it's about raving, but it mentions them and close enough. |

not recently, but in 2004...there were no raves, just clubs and partys on the beach
the clubs i went to were all caucasian invasion with vietnamese staff. a lot of old vietnamese men seemed to sit on small cars or squat on the sidewalk in groups and drink until they pretty much dropped. |
