Need help with a virus!

So, Apparently AVG sucks my ass!

Ive got viruses I cant get rid of.

Anyone know what to do?

Usually if AVG doesnt fix it I can just go to the folder and delete, but I cant find the folder it says its in. dammit

Any other good free Virus Scanners out there that actually work?

I did, just tells me that the virus arnt that harmfull, but nothing on how to cure.

could try an online virus scanner like bit defender, its not to bad.

btw Matty, AVG does not suck... I'm guessing it's your firewall that sucks. When you got everything sorted out I have a sygate firewall i can send you... it's top notch.

And Ive got to admit, I really do not know much about virus scanners and such or firewalls, Last computer had some top notch shit built in so I never had to worry about it, now Ive got nothing! So Im kinda a noob for Virus shit!

or i think theres a basic freeware version you can get from download.com

I think thats how some of my virus came here in the first place, trying to download shit.

I'm guessing you opened a ZIP folder without scanning it first. AVG scans ZIP folders too btw.

No, which is why im confussed how these got here. Im ususally really good at keeping viruses off my compouter. These are the first ones Ive ever had on this computer!

Everyone coming over and doing shit on my computer might be why!

Ok, I wanted to be safe, so Ive run like 12 differenct scanners and now everything seems to be in the clear!

Thats it though... no one is ever on my computer again. I was totally fine till I started letting others use my comp!
