yeah it does.

my roommate has been on the program for 2 weeks now, and has lost 17 lbs. last time my father went on the program he lost over 30 lbs in 2 1/2 months.

on a side note,

that guy looks like he has down syndrome

Atkins works great..until you start eating regularly. And then you gain most it back. I know many people that attempted the atkins diet and succeeded...and then gained most of the weight back within 3 months. =D

yeah same here. a lot of people actually end up putting on extra weight afterwards too, and come out heavier than when they started.
