What do you do to pass the time at work?

i wish i had headphones or speakers :(, i think i should bring some on tomorrow. One of my co-workers left the starwars trilogy here, so I am currently calculating how many hours it will take to watch all three dvds....ooooh approximately 7 hours wo0o0ohh by the time I'm finished it'll be nearing home time :D.

There isnt ALWAYS eight full hours at work..

When I work at the hotel...There is only about 3 hours of work..and that includeds checking in 35+ people, reservations, plus a list of tasks. So for the rest of the five hours..I usually read books/magazines or make jewelery. I bring my whole kit with me.

I work at a tanning salon. It's pretty chill. I work 10 to 11 hour days(open to close) 4 to 5 days a week, so i get great hours and decent pay. Sometime I get a little bored though lol.

anyways, i did see the star wars trilogy a little while back, its really good. they flow so well. its worth the seven hours.

surfing. msn. watch or listen to stuff on video ipod. talk to co workers or umm work. Work is obviously the best time killer. makes it go by so much faster but need ocasional downtime of course

Guess this is the difference between a job and a career then. I can't think of a day when there is less than eight hours of work... I always having something to do.

Yeah but some people actually have to work the entire time they are at work, the only breaks they get are scheduled.
