it's grown gradually worse, unfortunately. last friday i was waiting in line with a friend and a guy was dragged out by the bouncers and started yelling that he was going to shoot someone. apparently he bottled someone inside or something. it used to be a really cool and laid back hip hop night, but i guess there's some attitude there now that its more popular.

well i ended up going... and some flip guys ran out of the underground with a bone breaker (cop baton) and was chasing some car.. i guess they beefed inside tokyo lounge or something.. and then he called some random girl infront of tokyo lounge a "fat bitch" haha... it was odd cause it just came out of nowhere and he randomly called some chick a fat bitch...

I've been twice and really loved it there, went for my 19th and then a while later. The music is awesome, the drinks are decent and the atmosphere is awesome

It's going downhill? That's sad. I really liked it there on fridays. Really good non pretentious crowd combined with fun music and good vibe.

and well, I just like tkl too! hehe.


Though I think alcohol and boneheads can really clash at ANY night occasionally. I remember seeing shit go down there when I was working there on Saturday nights at a funky house night for crying out loud :P

Was it sumo when you worked there?? I miss that night.... that place was my little funky temple of good times. I remember one occasion where a guy who had been creepin' had his nose busted in the smoke room.... people would always start shit outside too for some reason. I guess its just generic run of the mill idiots that you find anywhere music is played and liquor is consumed.

I like Fridays, fun music, fun people... I always run into people I know there... as for a bad crowd, I think you can easily say that on any given night any club or any clubnight can run into one... it only takes 1 or 2 people to start something... Wish they would just stay home!
