not sure if it would work the same way. I have a tide to go pen and it's AMAZING!! I carry it in my purse :D. Every time I see Kelly Ripa on that tide commercial I want to go through the screen and punch her in the teeth.

does it work only on whites?

what kinds of stains does it work on?

what about does it look like a wet spot ? and for how long?

the commercial is so misleading.

do you have to rinse the detergent out after using the pen?

It works on light colors as far as I know. One would think that it would work on dark colors too. I've used it on spilt soya sauce, tomato sauce, and juice and it has work...even tried it out on my shoes and it works very nicely. You don't have to rinse the spots after you use the pen, they dry up fairly quickly.

I'm not sure, mine was a gift lol. I'm sure it's probably under $10, in which case it would be well worth every penny in my opinion.

Same here. I've only ever had to use it on my whites so far, and it works like magic! :) I honestly didn't think it would, but it does. I also keep it in my purse, but I forgot to bring it once and bought a second one. lol

i bought on a wim, before seeing the commercials...

i speckled my new shirt with soy sauce and it ran to the drug store to get some club soda, and saw the pen, bought it, and it took the stain out right away.

its great.

:)

try sushi, soyasauce goes well sushi. but first mix a little wasabi in the soya, the soya actually breaks down the wasabi.

I love the tide pen, have it in my purse and it'sg reat on white clothing and such, it seriously works wonders... it will take out any stain pretty much but does a better job taking out fresh ones, as it just seems to make them disappear

I wonder if this will work for my purse..the drycleaners wouldnt take it cause of the metal rings on it and I cant wash it with a scrub brush like I was told, the gold fabric leaks onto the white !!! grrrr.. you dont think about cleaning it when you buy it.. it was just so beautiful !

any tips on getting a purse like this one clean ?
