!!!Blarney Stone? or Doolin's??

i havent been to either pub yet.. just curious if you've been to either what your opinion is.. just needing some feedback!

blarney stone, easy going pub atmosphere.
especially the greenhouse at the back.

doolin's, 1/2 pub, 1/2 club like, but good too.

But on the weekends they both get stupid full and it's pretty much uncomfortable because you have zero room to move.

i'm planning on heading down around 4pm then leaving before too too late.. i dont particularly want to be there with all the annoying bar stars. one thing that sucks is blarneystone has cover charge.. doesn't sound too pub like to me:S

blarney stone is waaay more club like

doolins is a total sit down pub the only thing club about it is the cellar is downstairs but they charge you cover if you try and go down there

the Blarney Stone is the college crowd. There is little Irish about the place. Its drunks trying to fuck.

Doolins is much nicer overall. Better beer selection also! Brilliant!

thanks.im thinking doolins then. im not in the mood for a club like pub.. that would just ruin things. ill be in a club after.. thats enough for me.

there is a greenhouse in the back? I think your thinking of the irish heather across the street. The food there is a bit expensive for the portions but the drinks are good and they have a huge selection of whiskey.
