Well, if you're going on the Student Tours club crawl (easily the most popular), you pay $30for a ticket until the week of, and then usually $35/ticket from there. That ticket gives you: transportation between clubs (of which you won't know which one you're going to until you get there), no line/no cover, drink specials at clubs you attend, and prizes all night. There are no free drinks.
They have changed up the club crawl this year. Usually when you buy a ticket, you choose your starting venue, and move around from there. This year, everyone starts at the Plaza of Nations at 2pm (!), which I think is pretty cool. That way, you get to see thousands of different people in costumes at once. The 2pm start I think is stupid. It started at 6pm last year, which I thought was way too early already, and now this is even worse. It's going to cost a HELL of a lot of money to buy booze all night, that's for sure. But whatever, I'll be there for sure. |

Ok, I just checked the Student Tours site, and, while it does start at 2pm, you have to be registered by 4pm, which isn't as bad. I'd much rather be predrinking from 2pm-4pm. But like I said, they're fun shit if you're with a fun group of friends, or there's some crazy mofos on your bus.
The best part of the bus: for the most part, you can drink and smoke whatever the hell you want, no problem. Drinking for sure, but some bus drivers don't like people smoking. |

Here's some pics from last year's club crawl: http://www.rustybob.ca/thumbnails.php?album=56
There's no pics from the last venue though, 'cause my buddy got arrested with my camera. I left a really drunken pissed off message on his phone later that night, because I couldn't take pics at Doomsnight. I think this guy had my favurite costume from the night: Edit: Oh yeah, and it sucked that there were no pics from the last venue either, because it was just stupidly packed. The last place we went to was The Cellar, and I'd say there were WAY over capacity. It was literally shoulder to shoulder in there, but it was a good crowd. |
