Heroes (new series on NBC)
I don't usually watch much tv (aside from all new Family Guy). But this was kind of interesting. Anyone else catch it last night?

Yeah I watched it and although it started a little slow it picked up pretty good. The little preview of what's coming made me even more interested. It showed the japanese guy reading about himself in a comic book.... so someone is writing about them already.
It looks like it's going to take the route of 'Lost' and have all sorts of strange mysteries that we need to try and figure out. Overall I'm pretty stoked on this one.... already looking forward to next Monday! |

I noticed in the credits that the series is written by Jeph Loeb who is a very well established comic book writer who has written many series in both the Marvel and DC universes. The fact that he's involved in this production pretty much guarantees a solid story line!

that would explain why its available as a comic too.
I like the use of product placment in the plot of last night's episode. I laughed. Hiro demanded that he must rent a Nissan Versa. The show is sponsered by Nissan and that's what car they're pushing right now. |

As the stories intertwine even more this series is gong to get better and better! |

Second, I don't see how people would want to watch a show where people break down and do nothing but nasty things to others. The competition basis for most of them turns people into back stabbers, connivers, and jerks. I really figure that most of these shows cater to the lowest common denominator of white trash America.... |
