Good PC Games

Looking for some good PC games.

I dont need MPlayers or anything. Just the games themselves.

War, Racing or FPS.

Unreal Tournament, any of em! i love the original the best.

F.E.A.R you need a killer grafix card for it tho

We can leave it at my computer will run anything. So far the newest games with the highest req's would run fine on my computer.

Quake, Unreal and the such arnt really games Im into though.

i always find myself going back to diablo2

i've started playing "Dungeon siege 2" also...

as for the Quake games, i always like #3 Areana best. Diablo2 is always good.
i really liked Fallout2 i want to try to get ahold of that again. right now im actualy playing through StarCraft again. its classic. oh and Bulders Gate is a wicked one. alot of the times i go back and play an old Civ game, i still like those too.

Diablo is ok (never played it for very long myself though, not my style)

Still probably my favourite FPS ever: Farcry. Sick graphics, and still some of the smartest AI you'll find in a game.

I can't wait until the new one comes out.

FEAR is really choppy even on the best systems.. its frustrating .. very frustrating.



you may like Dawn of War if you like the RTS type.. im going to get the 2nd expansion here in a bit.

EDIT: FEAR runs smooth as hell on mine. But honestly even if it was a bit choppy.....sick game.

i like to think that i have a top system.. but its smooth until i enter a room or a "cut scene" happens.

it hangs for a brief second.. but its noticable.

Do you have anti-aliasing on at all? Or better, what setting do you run it at? Mid? High?

i tried it with all settings.. and it was the same. anti-aliasing and low/med/high.

it all had that little studder.

i've got an ATI x800 platinum and 2 gigs of ram. it should be fine i would think.
