does it have an option that allows you to turn off the movement from the controller? using the controller like a sword/steering wheel/shovel (that's for all those "animal farm people), would get annpying after the first five minutes.

yeah, geez, gamers don't actually want to have to MOVE their bodies - that defeats the purpose! |

that's sort of the point of the system. If you want same old, same old, get an xbox or a ps3.

if i wanted to shoot luigi (that smug little bastard) with a blue turtleshell i'd just head down to the nearest go cart track and put myself in sixth place. this is always assuming that luigi can even make to to first place, though. |

then that's a pretty stupid point, because if i can't use a regular (same old same old) controller i'm not going to get the system. and i'm pretty sure that there are other people like me out there. i know i'm not unique.

HAHAHAHA. Thats EXACTLY what I said when I heard about this system. No more "lazy" gamer stereotyping!

Actually, from what I've heard from some buddies at Radical, the SDK is almost EXACTLY the same from the Gamecube, just faster and more inputs. Which makes backwards compatibility a cinch, and really not all games are going to require use of the gyroscopic features of the controller.
