hey game nerds!

I'd like to get my stepdad a PC game for Christmas but I have no idea what's new or good. He likes flight-simulation and war games, but I don't want to get him something just like all the ones he already has...

So yeah, can anyone suggest some of the best games that he won't already have?

What kinda war games does he like? Do you know? First Person, Stratagy, ???

The new flight sim looks pretty killer. But otherwise for a war game I would definatly reccommend Company of Heroes.

If his PC can handle it get him Medieval 2: Total War, best war game pretty much ever =).

Or maybe trying something a bit unique like Silent Hunter 3, a really really good u-boat simulator.

Microsoft Flight Simulator is by far the most advanced and will probably get him hooked. The newer version always has many different features than the last one.

Never had the 12 pack w/ C&C Generals. But I did own the first box set that come out.

First online game I ever played was Red Alert. Good times!
